I am saddened to read of Lisa's passing. Her blog has been a wonderful inspiration to me in my own battle against lung cancer. I send thoughts and wishes for comfort and strength to Lisa's family and friends. Please know that her words and experience have helped others so much. Thank you, Lisa. Bless you.

RIP Lisa. I followed her journey since the beginning and she helped me understand the fight that my brave mother-in-law battled for 16 months before she passed.

Prayers from Sydney, Australia.

Words cannot begin to express the sadness and gratitude I feel for Lisa and her family. We found out my Mother had lung cancer last May and this past summer I came apon Lisa's blog and have followed it ever since. She gave me hope and inspiration which helped my encourage my mother through her battle. Unfortunately my Mothers battle ended in November and I will never be the same again, so I can fully feel and understand the pain all of you are feeling now. This past month I have been checking this page everyday knowing with my heart that Lisa was not doing well and also knowing that one day I would check this page and see what I saw today and I am very sad. I feel I knew her and I am thankful I was guided to this blog never realizing my Mother would be gone so quickly. Lisa's family will be in my prayers that God will give them the strength that she gave to so many of us.

My Dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer (didn't smoke, runner, just 'bad luck' as the Dr. says) and your posts about your own journey have touched me immensely. Your love for your family leaps off of the page and reminds me of my own Dad and of how much he cares for us girls. A lived life is a beautiful thing to behold and I am deeply appreciative that you have let us be witness to yours. My thanks and thoughts with you and your family. May grace continue to follow you through.

Lisa -

It's a work in progress. I hope you find that medication balance and that the Holidays are full of warmth and comfort for you. My good thought and wishes for strength and courage come your way. You are an outstanding example and inspiration for me as I battle Stage IV NSCLC. Thank you so much.

Lisa,
I also want to thank you for your blog. My mom was diagnosed with sm. cell lung cancer May 1st 2009, unfortunately she died Nov. 17th. Somehow I came upon your blog and have followed you ever since. I am inspired by you and also receive comfort from this blog. My mom fought as you are fighting. I can tell it is hard for you to continue doing this, but please know you are in my prayers and a lot of people are pulling for you and your family. God bless you.
