Florida Lung Cancer Partnership became the fourth state chapter of National Lung Cancer Partnership in January 2012 to support lung cancer research, awareness and change. Members include health care professionals, lung cancer survivors and advocates dedicated to decreasing deaths due to lung cancer and helping patients live longer and better. Seven Free to Breathe® events have been held in Florida since 2009, including run/walks in Punta Gorda, Jacksonville, Southwest Florida and Orlando. Upcoming Florida Free to Breathe events include the Southwest Florida Run/Walk the Orlando Run/Walk.
