This half-day symposium brought together a unique community of physicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, patients and patient advocates to learn about the latest scientific and clinical developments in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with lung cancer.

National Cancer Institute Director and Nobel Laurate, Dr. Harold Varmus, spoke about the dramatically expanding opportunities in lung cancer research and treatment, and how the NCI is addressing the challenges bringing these opportunities to patients.
