November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month! It's a time when thousands of people will come together to make a difference in the places where the effects of lung cancer are felt the most: their local communities.
Every November, these volunteers organize awareness events, teach their communities about lung cancer and raise funds for vital research.

Advocates' efforts are vital to ensuring that everyone diagnosed with lung cancer has access to the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment and care. Advocates visit hospitals, doctors' offices, community centers and libraries to distribute free Partnership resources. See who's raising awareness in their communities.
