Who We Are  >  Mission
Mission

The National Lung Cancer Partnership is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, originally formed in 2001, and officially incorporated in 2003. Our mission is to decrease deaths due to lung cancer, and help patients live longer and better, through research, awareness, and advocacy.

We will accomplish the above mission by:

  • Raising awareness of the deadly impact of lung cancer upon both women and men

  • Increasing funding for lung cancer research

  • Improving patient care by educating and empowering patients and healthcare professionals
