American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
The mission of AACR is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, and communication. AACR’s purposes are to foster research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerate the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to the conquest of cancer; promote science education and training; and advance the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.

American Cancer Society (ACS)
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR)
AICR is the cancer charity that fosters research on diet and cancer prevention and educates the public about the results.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
ASCO provides cancer information for both oncology professionals and cancer patients. ASCO is committed to: Improving cancer care and prevention; advancing the education of physicians and other professionals in the care of patients with cancer and supporting the development of clinical cancer researchers; fostering communication among cancer-related medical subspecialties and the exchange of a wide range of ideas related to cancer; advocating public policy that ensures patient access to high-quality cancer care and that supports increased clinical cancer research; and assisting oncologists in addressing the challenges of the modern-day practice of oncology.

Association of Cancer Online Resources (ACOR)
This nonprofit association manages over 90 online support groups providing information and community to patients, caregivers, and others.

Cancer101
CANCER101 provides planners to over 350 cancer centers in all 50 states to give to their patients and caregivers in need. Our planners are free to their patients and include essential organizational tools and important resources designed to empower patients and caregivers to take control over their diagnosis from the moment they learn they have cancer through the next ten years of follow-up care. Cancer Care
CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free, professional support services for anyone affected by cancer.

Cancer Hope Network
Cancer Hope Network is a non-profit organization that provides free and confidential one-on-one support to cancer patients and their families. They match cancer patients or family members with trained volunteers who have themselves undergone and recovered from a similar cancer experience.

CancerGuide: A Resource For Patients and Loved Ones
CancerGuide, a free web publication for patients and their family and friends, is written by a nurse to share her knowledge, experiences, and feelings with others to help make the journey easier.

Cancer Monthly
Created by volunteers who have lost loved ones to cancer, this resource provides patients with the opportunity to compare clinical results from the medical/scientific literature.

Cancer.Net
ASCO Cancer Foundation hosts Cancer.Net (formerly People Living With Cancer), a website providing oncologist-approved cancer information to help patients and families make informed health-care decisions.

CancerProgress.Net: Lung Cancer Timeline
This interactive timeline from the ASCO Cancer Foundation shows the major milestones of research and the progress made against lung cancer in the past several decades.

Cancer Project
The Cancer Project promotes cancer prevention and survival through a better understanding of cancer causes, particularly the link between nutrition and cancer.

The Cancer Support Community
In July 2009, The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club joined forces to become the largest provider of cancer support worldwide. The combined organization is comprised of nearly 50 local affiliates, 12 affiliates in development and over 100 satellite locations. Together, we will continue to provide support, education and hope to all people affected by cancer. By offering professionally-led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and stress-reduction classes, The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club continue to empower and educate individuals affected by cancer.

CarePages
CarePages are free, easy-to-use Web pages that help family and friends communicate when a loved one is receiving care. CarePages help families create a virtual meeting place on the web; share news and photos as often as needed; and receive emotional support during a time of need.

Caring Voice Coalition
Founded in 2003, Caring Voice Coalition, Inc. (CVC), focuses on giving individuals with specific chronic or life-threatening diseases access to life-saving therapies. Specialists work with patients to help pay residual costs associated with a patient's therapy, and to connect patients to essential support resources.

Chemo Care
This is Scott Hamilton’s website designed to provide the latest information about chemotherapy to patients and their families, caregivers and friends. They hope to supplement what people may already have learned from their healthcare professionals.

Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups
The Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups is the nation's premier network of cancer clinical trials specialist. The diverse, comprehensive membership includes all ten of the nation's federally funded cancer Cooperative Groups, cancer centers, academic medical centers, community hospitals, physicians, and more than forty patient advocacy groups. Use the TrialCheck search tool to locate cancer clinical trials in your area.

Education Network to Advance Cancer Clinical Trials (ENACCT)
The mission of ENACCT is to identify, implement and validate innovative community centered approaches to cancer clinical trials education. ENACCT is currently focusing on the Pilot Education Program to demonstrate how a community-driven outreach and education program can increase awareness about cancer clinical trials, enhance their acceptability and improve access to them.

Fertile Hope
Fertile Hope is a LIVESTRONG initiative dedicated to providing reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients and survivors whose medical treatments present the risk of infertility.

Fighting Chance
Fighting Chance is a free-of-charge cancer counseling and resource center providing patients and their caregivers a better chance to beat cancer by helping them to take informed action. Free access to hard hard-to-find resources and professional counseling is available from the time of diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.

Imerman Angels
Imerman Angels offers one-on-one cancer support, connecting cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers to each other to give encouragement and support.

There are tons of awesome cancer support services out there with programs just for young adults. StupidCancer.com has them all available for you.

Kimmie Cares/Partners for a Cure Foundation
If anything could be worse than first hearing you're diagnosed with cancer, it might be how to find a way to tell your children about it. Partners for a Cure Foundation and the Kimmie Cares doll and book offers comfort for a child during their loved one's cancer treatment.

Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF)
The Lance Armstrong Foundation believes that in the battle with cancer, unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, the LAF provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong.

Love Caps 4 Cancer
LC4C is a non-profit organization (started in December 2009) that is dedicated to crocheting "love caps" for those who are fighting against cancer, as well as for those who have beaten this sickness. National Cancer Institute (NCI)
The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS)
The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) is the only survivor-led advocacy organization working exclusively on behalf of this country's more than 9 million cancer survivors and the millions more touched by this disease.

National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)
National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is a not-for-profit alliance of 21 of the world’s leading cancer centers. The website educates and prepares cancer patients to engage in more informed conversations with health care providers so they can live longer and better quality lives.

Navigating Cancer
Navigating Cancer is a free website specifically for cancer patients and their supporters, offering tools and authoritative cancer resources that empower patients to take control of their health and partner more closely with their physicians, support network and other like patients. At Navigating Cancer, patients can create and manage a secure patient health record, keep a daily record of their well being and side effects, and create summary reports that can be shared with their healthcare team to receive the best care. Navigating Cancer also provides a forum for patients to connect with other cancer patients to learn and share from their experiences and to keep their support network updated on their journey.

Oncology Nursing Society
The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a professional organization for registered nurses and other healthcare providers dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and administration in oncology nursing.

OncoLink
This website, run by nurses and doctors who care for oncology patients, offers a wide variety of information for all levels from a newly diagnosed individual to a physician in practice.

Patient Resource Cancer Guide
The Patient Resource Cancer Guide is a free publication that was created to empower and prepare newly diagnosed and newly restaged cancer patients to become their own advocates. Now in its fourth year, this comprehensive resource helps these patients and their families map the cancer journey. RadiologyInfo is a free internet resource that provides access to information on almost 100 radiologic exams and treatments. There are detailed descriptions and pictures to help patients learn more about upcoming tests and how they should prepare.

A PBS website with downloadable PDF handouts that offer guidance on how to manage the realities that come with a cancer diagnosis, as well as information about avocation for your own health care, how to gain access to clinical trials, and other key topics.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults
